The breaking of America: What hurts the most
The state of our nation today reminds me of “The Twilight Zone” reruns that I watched as a young boy. They were always very eerie and unsettling.

Whether it's itinerant speakers requiring Hollywood status, worship teams demanding the rock star treatment, or pastors chasing “likes” and “retweets,” celebrityism has infiltrated the churches on a scale never seen before.
In the end, the choice is yours when it comes to what you watch and listen to, but why would you willingly walk into the enemy’s camp?
I’m tired of weak, passive men who never contend, stand or fight for anything worth dying for. Our nation is looking for character, our wives are looking for leaders, and our kids are looking for fathers.
Jesus Christ is the only hope for this hopeless world, the only solution for life’s problems, and the only way to truly know God.
We must be desperate for more of God. When you lay hold of Him never let go!
Fleshly appetites are subdued when fasting. Fasting is challenging because the flesh always wants to negotiate with us. It says, “Can’t we meet in the middle? Don’t completely remove food — that’s too extreme!”
One HUGE benefit of prayer and fasting is that it empties us in order to be filled. It weakens the flesh in order to be strengthened by the Spirit.
A red wave in November 2022 won't save us, but the crimson blood of Christ will.
Although it is God who fills us, we must yield. He empowers, but we must surrender. He awakens, but we must repent. Let Isaiah’s battle cry become your battle cry and watch what God does in and through you — arise and shine.
