The school board says in effect, “Teachers needed. Biblical Christians need not apply.” This sort of discrimination is clearly unconstitutional. But is it what parents want?
There is a growing war against the past. Our heroes of yesteryear, even George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, are under attack.
The irony is that those who rail against the Constitution are able to do so because of the freedoms granted them by that very document.
What happens when a free society is completely taken over by the forces of totalitarianism, dedicated to complete squelching of opposing viewpoints?
Why must the left strangle what few conservative voices are heard on the other side?
Without God as the secure source of our rights, from whence come those rights?
When Vice President Kamala Harris gave a speech promoting abortion over the weekend, she cited our nation’s founding document and the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But she conveniently left out the right to life — even though that is the first right listed. She also left out the Creator — the source of all our rights.
Wilberforce is a great example of what Jesus can do through those fully committed to Him in whatever position in which He has placed them — when God’s “amazing grace” gets ahold of a life wholly committed to Him.
After a half-century of the abortion ethic, we have lost a lot of ground in cherishing the “right to life.” Raising awareness of these nationwide safe haven laws is a step in the right direction.
